David S. Mutton,
46, of Foster, passed away peacefully at home Friday, November 2, 2012 surrounded by family and friends after an eight month battle with Pancreatic cancer. He was the beloved husband of Sarah (Garland) Mutton, son of Rhoda Mutton of Miami Lakes, Florida and the late Clive R. Mutton, brother of Steven T. Mutton of Pottstown, Pennsylvania.
Born in Gloucester, England, he emigrated with his family to Warwick in 1981 and became a U.S. Citizen in 2003. After graduating from Toll Gate High School in 1984, he spent time in Bogota, Columbia studying engineering and Spanish before entering the Navy. At the time of his death he was employed as a mechanic at The New England Country Club in Bellingham, MA.
At home in nature, he hunted and fished various regions of this country he loved so well. An avid angler, a man of all seasons, be it summer on the Wood river or on the ice of Carbuncle pond, he could be found fishing with his wife Sarah and a handful of friends, always ready with advice for the young and novice alike. Possessed of a wicked wit and a generous nature, he was a true friend dearly loved by many.
