Joseph T. Stalaboin, Jr.,
87, formerly of Coventry, passed away Sunday, October 21, 2012 in Waxhaw, North Carolina. He was the husband of the late Claire E. (Lemay) Stalaboin.
Born in Moosup, Connecticut, he was a son of the late Joseph T. and Laura (Shaw) Stalaboin.
Mr. Stalaboin was a Maintenance Supervisor for Natco Products for over 40 years, retiring in 1990. He served in The United States Navy during WW II and was a member of the V.F.W. and American Legion Post 2.
He was the beloved father of Jo-Ann B. Hatton of Waxhaw, North Carolina, Penny Fournier of Coventry and Russell E. Shipp of Woonsocket. Loving brother of Richard Stalaboin of Warwick, Betty Stalaboin and Doris Stalaboin, both of Plainfield, Connecticut and the late Robert Stalaboin. Cherished grandfather of six and great-grandfather of ten.
Relatives and friends are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, November 3, 2012 at 9:00 am in SS John & Paul Church, South Main Street, Coventry. Burial, with military honors, will follow in R.I. Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Exeter. Calling hours are respectfully omitted.
