Mary A. Nahrgang, 83, of North Kingstown, died peacefully on Wednesday, October 24, 2012 at Kent Hospital. She was the wife of the late Paul C. Nahrgang. Born in New York, NY, she was a daughter of the late Thomas L. Mahoney and Rose M. (Olah) Mahoney.

Mrs. Nahrgang was a Medical Secretary at Kent Hospital until her retirement. She was a member of the American Legion VFW of East Greenwich, Fleet Reserve of Quonset Point, Senior Citizens of East Greenwich, and volunteered for North Kingstown, Warwick, and East Greenwich Schools.

She leaves her three children, Thomas R. Nahrgang, Paul C. Nahrgang and his wife Wendy, and James P. Nahrgang and his wife Patricia. Cherished grandmother of three grandchildren. She was the sister of James F. Mahoney and the late Theodore Mahoney, Timothy P. Mahoney, Thomas C. Mahoney, John P. Mahoney, Patrick J. Mahoney, Joseph T. Mahoney, Nora R. Mahoney, Alice R. Sullivan, and Helen R. Karmaraski.

A private graveside service was held at St. Columba Cemetery, Middletown. Calling hours respectfully omitted.
