Julia E. (Mikvicka) Rymszewicz, 89, of New Bedford, died peacefully at Sacred Heart Home on Thursday, October 11, 2012. She was the wife of the late Stephen Rymszewicz. Born in New Bedford, Massachusetts, she was a daughter of the late George Mikvicka and Dorothy (Kelley) Fournier.

Mrs. Rymszewicz was a Homemaker who enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She was a graduate of New Bedford Vocational High School.

She leaves her eight children: Stephen Rymszewicz and his wife Lorraine, of FL, Gene Rymszewicz and his wife Ann of East Freetown, Edward Rymszewicz and his wife Maureen of SC, Bruce Rymszewicz of NH, Paul Rymszewicz and his wife Kathy of South Dartmouth, David Rymszewicz and his wife Darleen of New Bedford, James Rymszewicz of New Bedford, and Deborah Medeiros and her husband Joseph of South Dartmouth. She was the mother of the late Susan Rymszewicz. Cherished grandmother of 20 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild. She was the sister of George Fournier of Florida, Barbara Beaudry of Texas and the late Eugene Fournier.

Her Funeral and Burial will be private. Arrangements have been entrusted to THE CRANSTON-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME of WICKFORD.

In lieu of flowers, gifts in her memory to Sacred Heart Home, 359 Summer Street, New Bedford, MA 02740 will be appreciated.
