Dante L. Caprara, 91, of Warwick died peacefully at Kent Hospital on Tuesday, August 28, 2012. He was the husband of Sylvia J. (Hardy) Caprara. Born in Rotterdam, NY, he was a son of the late Arthur Caprara and Antoinette (Spelta) Caprara.

Mr. Caprara was the Group Merchandise Manager of Sears-Roebuck Company for 40 years until his retirement in 1980. He was a Communicant of St. Catherine of Siena Church and a member of the American Legion.

Besides his wife, he leaves his three sons, Dante L. Caprara, Jr. of Exeter, John R. Caprara of Carlsbad, California, and James A. Caprara of Clarksvill, Maryland. Cherished grandfather of 10 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. He was the brother of Anthony A. Caprara of Amsterdam, NY, Albert A. Caprara of Amsterdam, NY, Arthur A. Caprara of Saratoga Springs, NY, and the late Gino A. Caprara.

His Funeral and Burial in the RI Veterans Memorial Cemetery were private.
