Frank M. Mattera, Esq., 59, of South Kingstown, died Thursday, August 23, 2012. Born in Pawtucket, he was the son of Nancy L. (Wilson) Mattera of Narragansett and the late John Mattera. He was the companion of Kim Doung.

Mr. Mattera was a graduate of Suffolk Law School and was an Attorney for many years in his legal practice until his retirement in 1997.

Besides his mother and companion, he leaves his son, Frank W. Mattera of Franklin, MA. He was the brother of John W. Mattera of North Kingstown, Steve A. Mattera of Griswold, CT, Matthew J. Mattera of Mashpee, MA, and the late Michael J. Mattera.

A private graveside service was held in Elm Grove Cemetery, North Kingstown. Calling hours have been respectfully omitted. Arrangements have been entrusted to The Cranston-Murphy Funeral Home of Wickford.
