Michael J. MacIntyre, 55, of Pawtucket, passed away Monday, July 9, 2012 at home. Born in Providence, he was a beloved son of Dorothy E. (Barry) MacIntyre of Warwick and the late John L. "Jack" MacIntyre.

Michael was the owner and operator of Cutting Company and M.J.M. Hair Salon and the co-owner of Salon 2016. He was a graduate of Arthur Angelo School of Cosmetology and Hair Design. He enjoyed the beach, swimming and traveling.

He was the loving brother of Daniel J. MacIntyre of Warwick, Cheryl A. Millman of Warwick and Joyce M. MacIntyre of Lincoln. Caring uncle of Elizabeth M. Cole, John D. MacIntyre and Katelyn MacIntyre and granduncle of Adam Jack Cole. Cherished companion of Eileen Roland of Cape Cod.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday, July 19, 2012 at 9:00 am in St. Rita Church, 722 Oakland Beach Avenue, Warwick. Relatives and friends are invited and may call Wednesday, July 18, 2012 from 5-7 pm in THE URQUHART-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 800 Greenwich Avenue, Route 5, Warwick (Exit 12A on I-95). Burial will be private.
