Minnie (Soscia) Nameika Capussela, 88, of Cranston, died peacefully on Tuesday, July 3, 2012 at Phlip Hulitar Inpatient Center. Born in Cranston, she was one of 12 children of the late Antonio Soscia and Genevieve (Ruggeiri) Soscia. She was the wife of the late William Nameika and James Capussela.

Mrs. Nameika Capussela was a jewelry worker for Annex Glass & Novelty Co. until her retirement. She was a Communicant of of St. Mary Church.

She leaves her devoted daughters, Patricia and Sandra. She was the mother of the late Joyce. Cherished grandmother of four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Her Funeral will be held Friday, July 6, 2012 at 9:45 am from THE URQUHART-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 800 Greenwich Avenue, Route 5, Greenwood, Warwick (Exit 12A off I-95) with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am in St. Mary Church, 1525 Cranston Street, Cranston. Burial will follow in the RI Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Exeter. Relatives and friends are invited and may call on Thursday from 5:00 to 8:00 pm at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, gifts in her memory to The American Cancer Society Lymphoma Research, 931 Jefferson Blvd, Suite 3004, Warwick, RI 02886 will be appreciated.
