Frances C. (Gabrovshik) Lewis, 94, of North Kingstown, died peacefully on Wednesday, June 27, 2012 at Roberts Health Centre. Born in Colorado Springs, CO, she was a daughter of the late Frank Gabrovshik and Jennie (Lovsin) Gabrovshik. She was the wife of the late George F. Lewis.

Mrs. Lewis was a Homemaker and a former communicant of Sacred Heart Church in Colorado Springs, CO.

She leaves her two sons: Richard G. Lewis and his wife Leah of Portland, ME and Ronald L. Lewis and his wife Debra of Exeter. Cherished grandmother of Eric Lewis of St. Louis, MO, Jason M. Lewis and his wife Erica of East Greenwich, and Jamie M. Lewis of East Greenwich. She was the sister of the late Mary Gabrovshik, Jennie Logan, Pauline Gabrovshik, Elsie Demange, and Frank Gabrovshik.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, July 2, 2012 at 10:00 am in St. Bernard Church, 415 Tower Hill Road, Wickford. Calling hours are respectfully omitted. Burial in Fairview Cemetery, Colorado Springs will be private.

In lieu of flowers, gifts in her memory to Odyssey Hospice, 2374 Post Road, Suite 206, Warwick, RI 02886 will be appreciated.
