James S. Turnbull, III

James S. Turnbull, III, 56, of North Kingstown, died peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Friday, June 22, 2012 at Philip Hulitar Hospice Center. Born in Tokyo, Japan, he was the loving son of Takako (Furuta) Cunningham of Florida and the late James S. Turnbull, II. He was the loving husband of Norma J. (Jarbeau) Turnbull.

Mr. Turnbull was the owner of J.T. Construction for many years as a Contractor. He was a graduate of North Kingstown High School and was a communicant of St. Paul's Episcopal Church, Wickford. He enjoyed fishing, spending time with his family, and his three dogs.

Besides his wife and mother, he leaves his four children: Crystal N. Jarbeau , Cherie R. Crandall and her husband Craig, Raymond D. Picillo, and Jaimie S. Turnbull, all of North Kingstown. Cherished grandfather of Caden J. Crandall and Alexis J. Jarbeau. He was the son-in-law of Marion P. (Rogers) Devine of North Kingstown and the brother of John Turnbull of Florida, Catherine Turnbull of Woonsocket, Christine Turnbull of Providence, and the late Bruce Turnbull.

His Memorial Service will be held Saturday, June 30, 2012 at 2:00 pm in THE CRANSTON-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME of WICKFORD, 140 West Main Street, Wickford Village, North Kingstown. Relatives and friends are invited and may call from 1:00 to 2:00 pm prior to the service.
