Michael C. Rice, 61, of Exeter, died peacefully on Tuesday, June 12, 2012 at Briarcliffe Manor. Born in South Kingstown, he was the son of the late Leroy Rice and Beverly (Adams) Rice. He was the beloved husband of Sharon L. (Albert) Rice.

Mr. Rice was an Electrician for Electric Boat at Quonset until his retirement. He was a member of the American Legion Post 12, an avid golfer, and enjoyed salt water fishing.

Besides his wife, he leaves his two sons, Joshua G. Rice of South Kingstown and Jordan M. Rice of Exeter. He was the brother of Sandra Rice of North Kingstown and the late Shelly Noland.

In accordance with Michael's wishes, his funeral and burial will be private. Calling hours are respectfully omitted. Gifts in his memory to Odyssey Hospice, 2374 Post Road, Suite 206, Warwick, RI 02886 will be appreciated.
