Genevieve (Mott) Miller, 88, of West Warwick passed away Sunday at West View Health Care. She was the wife of the late John C. Miller. Born in Keyser, WV, she was a daughter of the late Joseph L. and Mary E. (Wagner) Mitchell.

Mrs. Miller was an Assistant Foreman for the Pawtuxet Valley Times for 35 years, retiring in 1994. She was an alumnae of Potomic State College, the first woman foreman in the United States in the I.T.U. and a 15th Descendant of The Mayflower Pilgrims. She was a former secretary of the R.I. Astrological Society and wrote astrology articles in local newspapers. Mrs. Miller enjoyed painting and was a voracious reader.

She was the beloved mother of Timothy L. Miller of East Greenwich and Marita J. Vecchione and her husband James of Smithfield. Loving companion of Edmond C. Vadnais. Cherished grandmother of Keri Lynn Miller, Erik F. Miller and James J. Vecchione. She was the sister of the late Marylynn Belisnky.

Relatives and friends are invited to Visitation on Thursday from 4-7 pm followed by a Funeral Service at 7:00 pm in THE URQUHART-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 800 Greenwich Avenue, Route 5, Warwick (Exit 12A on I-95). Burial will be private.
