Everett M. "Fluffy" Robinson,
85, of Warwick, Rhode Island passed away peacefully on April 8, 2012 surrounded by his loving family. He was formerly a resident of Pawtucket, Rhode Island for 70 plus years.
Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Norman Robinson and Elizabeth (MacIssac) Robinson. He was the beloved husband of Kathryn M. (Tregaskis) Robinson for 62 years.
He was the loving and devoted father of Jean E. (Robinson) True and her husband Richard of Bostic, NC, Kenneth R. Robinson and his wife Susan of Warwick, Kimberly Robinson of Lincoln, Mary (Robinson) Goff and her husband John of Warwick and the late Lawrence E. Robinson. He was a loving brother of George R. Robinson and his wife Marjorie of North Providence and Warwick and the late Robert Robinson, Norman E. Robinson, Jr. and Marjorie T. Maier. He also leaves behind 6 grandchildren Julie (Robinson) Marandola, Jason Robinson, Jessica (Robinson) Muldoon, Stephanie Goff, Shayne Goff and Hanna Goff; and 6 great-grandchildren Brianna, Haley, Lawrence, Jacob, Morgan and Andrew.
Everett was a U.S. Coast Guard Veteran of WW II and was employed at Ciba-Geigy Chemical Co., Cranston Branch, for twenty-eight years, retiring in 1986.
Everett will always be remembered for his infectious personality, and meeting and making friends wherever he went. He enjoyed fishing, gardening and most of all relaxing in "his chair." He was a natural comedian, and always found a way to make someone smile.
Relatives and friends are invited to Visitation on Thursday, April 12th, from 5-7 pm in THE URQUHART-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 800 Greenwich Avenue, Route 5, Warwick (Exit 12A on I-95). Funeral and burial services will be private.
