Viola A. "Auntie Vi" (Fortini) Danella, 94, of West Warwick, passed away Saturday at Riverview Nursing Home. She was the wife of the late Peter D. Danella. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Camillo and Maria V. (Mariano) Fortini.

Mrs. Danella was a textile worker for Lymansville Co. She was active in Sacred Heart Church activities.

She was the beloved sister of Carlo Fortini and his wife Helen of Port Orange, FL and the late Alfred, Allen and Richard Fortini and Mildred Apice. She is also survived by many godchildren, nieces and nephews.

Her funeral will be held Wednesday at 9:00 am from THE PRATA-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 78 Providence Street, West Warwick with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in Sacred Heart Church, 820 Providence Street, West Warwick. Burial will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery. Relatives and friends are invited and may call Tuesday 6-8 pm.
