Alice M. (O'Kane) Kerns, 87, formerly of Warwick, passed away Sunday at Briarcliffe Manor. She was the wife of the late Edward K. "Red" Kerns. Born in Fall River, MA, she was a daughter of the late Joseph P. and Ella (Nelson) O'Kane.

Mrs. Kerns was a Sales Person for several area stores including Filenes and Cherry & Webb Co.

She was the beloved mother of Carol Ann Correia and her husband Edward of Sterling, Connecticut. Loving grandmother of Edward Correia and Christine Loftes. Cherished great grandmother of Evan Mansolillo and Mason Correia. She was the sister of the late Nora DePasquale.

Relatives and friends are invited to a Committal Service on Saturday at 10:30 am in The R.I. Veterans Memorial Cemetery, South County Trail, Exeter and may gather at the Admin Bldg at 10:15 am. Calling hours are respectfully omitted.

In lieu of flowers, gifts in her memory to The Alzheimer's Assn., R.I. Chapter, 245 Waterman St., Suite 306, Providence, RI 02906 would be appreciated.
