Rose (Lima) Sciarra, 93, of Cranston, passed away Saturday at the home of her daughter. She was the wife of the late Louis Sciarra. Born in West Warwick, she was a daughter of the late Antonio and Rose (Pedosa) Lima.

Mrs. Sciarra was employed in the Packaging Department of the Imperial Knife Co. until her retirement.

She was the beloved mother of Jo-Ann Belanger and her husband Albert and Louis Sciarra, Jr. and his wife Georgine, all of Cranston. Loving grandmother of Robert Ferrazza and his wife Dawn, Christopher Ferrazza and his partner Phillip Ray and Louis Sciarra. Cherished great-grandmother of Isabella and Dante Ferrazza. She was the sister of the late Antonio, Joseph, John, Manuel, Margaret and Lillian Lima, Virginia Madelina and Mary Laranjo.

Her funeral will be held Saturday at 8:45 am from THE URQUHART-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 800 Greenwich Avenue, Route 5, Warwick (Exit 12A on I-95) with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in St. Rocco Church, 927 Atwood Avenue, Johnston. Burial will follow in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. Relatives and friends are invited and may call Friday 6-8 pm.
