Say this prayer with the utmost conviction, devotion, fervor and, by the grace of God, you will choose the only path towards salvation and everlasting life, by following our Lord Jesus Christ.
Heavenly Father:
I praise you and thank you for everything that you have granted me, since I decided to follow your son, Jesus. I know that it is always for my soul's benefit, even if I sometimes don't understand it. I also know that all joys and sorrows that are happening or will happen in my life, are rooted in your infinite love and mercy, and part of your plan for my spiritual growth and salvation.
Bless, and protect me from every evil, temptation, illness, and danger.
Heal my body, my mind, my heart, and my soul.
Fill me with the Holy Spirit. Transform me. Renew me. Take over my life. Make me a worthy disciple of your son Jesus. Help me to fulfill the plan that you have chosen for me. Comfort me and strengthen my trust in you during my afflictions. Let me feel the warmth of your love and compassion during my trials. Grant me your divine guidance during my most difficult decisions. Teach me how to be humble and how to love and serve you and everyone that you put in my path, with all my mind, my heart, my soul, and my strength.
Give me the faith, the hope, the strength, the courage, and the desire to carry my cross, and accept your will.
I ask all this, most merciful Father, in the name of your beloved son Jesus Christ, who died on the cross for our salvation and redemption, and lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen.
Your humble servant and brother in Christ,
Antonio Cordeiro
