Donald Skaletsky, 74, of North Kingstown, died peacefully on Thursday, February 9, 2012 at Kent Hospital. Born in Boston, MA, he was a son of the late John Skaletsky and Mary (Bess) Skaletsky. He was the husband of the late Nancy L. (Peck) Skaletsky.

Mr. Skaletsky was employed as a Salesman for various businesses until his retirement. He proudly served in the U.S. Army.

He leaves his two children: Arthur Skaletsky and his wife Josie of North Kingstown and Marybess Skaletsky-Giro and her husband John of Windham, Maine. He was the brother of Paul Skaletsky of Sharon, MA, Doris Skaletsky of Sharon, MA, Eleanor Schoulla of South Boston, MA, Mary Lamond of MA, and the late Walter Skaletsky, Arthur Skaletsky, William Skaletsky, and Agnes Staruski.

His Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, February 15, 2012 at 1:00 pm in THE CRANSTON-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME of WICKFORD, 140 West Main Street, Wickford Village, North Kingstown. Burial with Military Honors will follow in the RI Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Exeter. Relatives and friends are invited and may call at the funeral home from 11:00 to 1:00 pm prior the service.
