Donato M. "Dan" DiMonti

Donato M. "Dan" DiMonti, 90, of Warwick, formerly of Sutton Street, Providence passed away Monday at Kent Regency. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Vincenzo and Antonia Maria (Delle Fave) DiMonti.

Mr. DiMonti was a Machinist for B.A. Ballou for 28 years and served in The United States Army Air Corps during WW II. He was a past president of the Holy Name Society of Holy Ghost Church.

He was the beloved brother of Joseph A. DiMonti and his wife Josephine of West Warwick and the late Anthony DiMonte and Marie Russo. Loving uncle of several nieces and nephews.

His funeral will be held Saturday at 9:15 am from THE URQUHART-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 800 Greenwich Avenue, Route 5, Warwick (Exit 12A on I-95) with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in St. Gregory The Great Church, 360 Cowesett Road, Warwick. Burial, with military honors, will follow in R.I. Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Exeter. Relatives and friends are invited and may call Saturday 7:45-9:15 am.

In lieu of flowers, gifts in his memory to Holy Ghost Church, 472 Atwells Avenue, Providence, RI 02909 would be appreciated.
