Lucy A. "Nana" Lemme, 93, of Cranston, died peacefully on Thursday, January 5, 2012 at Cedar Crest Nursing Home. Born in Warwick, she was a daughter of the late Antonio Lancellotta and Maria (Petrarca) Lancellotta. She was the wife of the late Chester Lemme.

She leaves her beloved daughter, Linda A. Scungio and her husband Bill of Cranston, with whom she lived. Cherished grandmother of Alyssa Grenier and her husband Ron, Matthew Scungio and his fiancee Lori Kokofsky, and great-grandmother of Ella Lucia Grenier, the love of her life. She was the loving sister of Philomena Tomasso of Warwick and the late Albert, Joseph, and Ralph Lancellotta.

Her funeral will be held on Monday, January 9, 2012 at 8:45 am from THE URQUHART-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 800 Greenwich Avenue, Route 5, Greenwood, Warwick (Exit 12A off I-95) with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in Holy Apostles Church, 800 Pippin Orchard Road, Cranston. Burial will follow in St. Mary Cemetery, West Warwick. Relatives and friends are invited and may call at the funeral home on Sunday from 4:00 to 7:00 pm.

In lieu of flowers, gifts in her memory to Holy Apostles Memorial Society will be appreciated.
