Irene (Lancellotta) Antonelli, passed away peacefully on January 5, 2012. She was the wife of the late Thomas A. Antonelli. Born in West Warwick, she was a daughter of the late Michael and Carmela (Lombardi) Lancellotta.

Mrs. Antonelli was a member of Sacred Heart Parish in West Warwick and the Ladies of St. Ann Sodality.

She was the beloved mother of Carol Peltier and her husband Laurent of Jamestown and the late Thomas A. Antonelli, Jr. Loving sister of Ceasar R. Lancellotta of Warwick, Joanne Cubbison of Winter Springs, FL and the late Michael Lancellotta, John Lancellotta and Ann Brown. Cherished grandmother of three and great-grandmother of two. Caring aunt of several nieces and nephews.

Her funeral will be held Tuesday at 9:00 am from THE PRATA-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 78 Providence Street, West Warwick with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in Sacred Heart Church, 820 Providence Street, West Warwick. Burial will follow in St. Mary Cemetery, West Warwick. Relatives and friends are invited and may call Monday 5-7 pm.
