Marjorie B. (Pettit) Houlker, 94, of Cranston passed away on Saturday, December 24, 2011 at Scalabrini Villa. She was the wife of the late Jack Houlker. Born in Cumberland, she was a daughter of the late Franklin D. and Bertha (Case) Pettit.

Mrs. Houlker was a Bookkeeper for the former Pine & Hoffman Co., retiring in 1985 and was also a self employed Seamstress. She was a member of Phillips Memorial Baptist Church and the Hope Circle of Phillips Memorial Baptist Church.

She was the beloved mother of The Rev. John F. Houlker and his wife Patricia of Cranston and Marilyn R. Gustafson and her husband Peter of North Kingstown. Loving grandmother of Autumn Lucas and Jack Houlker. Cherished great-grandmother of Benjamin Lucas. She was the sister of the late Jennie Broadbent, Marion Carson, Kathleen Pettit and Edith Taylor.

Relatives and friends are invited to Visitation on Wednesday, December 28, 2011 from 4-7 pm followed by a Funeral Service at 7:00 pm in THE URQUHART-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 800 Greenwich Avenue, Route 5, Warwick (Exit 12A on I-95). Burial will be private.
