Lillian D. Brousseau,
is going to spend Christmas with her Lord & Savior, her husband, and her son. She died at the age of 100 on December 9, 2011 at the St. Jeanne Jugan Residence.
Mrs. Brousseau was born in Manville, the oldest of seven children of the late Edward and Alexandrina (Blais) Valois. She was the beloved wife of the late Wilfred E. Brousseau. They were happily married for 69 years.
She was a devoted mother to her late son, Robert E. Brousseau and is survived by her daughter Jeanne G. McDermott of North Smihtfield and her two sisters, Gloria Berard of Cumberland and Theresa Masterson of Central Falls. She was affectionately called Memere by her 9 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are invited and may call on Monday, December 12, 2011 from 4:00 to 8:00 pm at The St. Jeanne Jugan Residence, 964 Main Street, Pawtucket. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday at 10:30 am in the Chapel of The Residence. Burial will be in St. Stephen Cemetery, 683 South Main Street, Attleboro, MA.
In lieu of flowers, gifts in her memory to the Little Sisters of the Poor, St. Jeanne Jugan Residence will be appreciated.
