Orvin L. Real, 53, of Harold Street, Providence, passed away Friday, December 2, 2011 at Roger Williams Hospital.

Born in Manati, Puerto Rico, he was the son of Felix N. and Luz D. (Bruno) Real.

Mr. Real was a D.J. in New York City and spent many years in the radio and communication business.

He was the father of Christian Real, of Providence. Besides his son, he is survived by a sister, Ileana R. Valentin-Lopes, of Providence. He leaves 5 grandchildren.

His funeral service will be held from The Prata-Murphy Funeral Home, 78 Providence Street, West Warwick, RI, THURSDAY, December 8, 2011, at 10:30am.

Visitation will be 1hr. prior to service. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, West Greenwich, RI.
