Albert E. Hadfield,
85, of Exeter, passed away Wednesday at South County Nursing & Rehabilitation. He was the husband of the late Ethel O. (Howe) Hadfield. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Albert and Eva (Baker) Hadfield.
Mr. Hadfield was a printer for United Printing Co. in Warwick for 35 years, retiring in 1976. He was an active member of Warwick Central Baptist Church, a member of Adelphoi Lodge F&AM, Past Master of What Cheer Lodge and a member of the Scottish Rite.
He was the beloved father of Richard S. Hadfield and his wife Janie of Cranston and Cynthia J. Flanagan and her husband Russell of Exeter. Caring brother of Barbara Luther of Barrington and Cora Turner of North Kingstown. Cherished grandfather of Shawn, Ryan, and Danielle.
His funeral will be held Monday at 10:00 am from THE URQUHART-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 800 Greenwich Avenue, Route 5, Warwick (Exit 12A on I-95) with a Funeral Service at 11:00 am in Warwick Central Baptist Church, 3270 Post Road, Warwick. Burial will follow in Highland Memorial Park, Johnston. Relatives and friends are invited and may call Sunday 3-5 pm.
