Francis N. Riley, 76, of North Kingstown, died peacefully on Sunday, November 20, 2011 at South Kingstown Nursing & Rehabilitation. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Francis F. Riley, Sr. and Isabelle M. (Fountneau) Riley. He was the loving husband of Virginia C. (Kitchegan) Riley.

Mr. Riley was employed as a Ship Fitter for Electric Boat until his retirement. He proudly served in the U.S. Navy, attended the USS Boston Reunions, and was a Communicant of St. Francis de Sales Church.

Besides his wife, he leaves his two children: Steven F. Riley of Providence and Erica L. Riley of Wakefield. Cherished brother of Louise Riley Henry of North Kingstown and Gail M. Hawkins of South Kingstown.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, November 23, 2011 at 10:00 am in St. Francis de Sales Church, 381 School Street, North Kingstown. Burial with Military Honors will follow in the RI Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Exeter. Relatives and friends are invited and may call on Tuesday from 4:00 to 7:00 pm in THE CRANSTON-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME of WICKFORD, 140 West Main Street, Wickford Village, North Kingstown. Kindly omit flowers.
