Bernard F. McGuire, 72, of Coventry passed away Friday at Rhode Island Hospital. He was the beloved husband of Shirley (Ray) McGuire. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Bernard F. McGuire, Sr. and Yvette (Fugere) McGuire.

Mr. McGuire was a pattern maker for the Electric Boat Division of General Dynamics in Quonset. He had served in The U.S. Army Reserves. He was a member of V.F.W. Post 2 in West Warwick, Coventry Elks and Club Joques.

He was the loving father of Domique A. Eccleston and her husband Gregory of Coventry. Caring step-father of Scott Miller, Wayne Miller and Laurie Miller, all of West Warwick and Janet Acciaioli of Smithfield. Cherished brother of Daniel McGuire and Patricia Beckman, both of Florida. Devoted step-grandfather of nine.

Relatives and friends are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday at 10:00 am in St. Vincent de Paul Church, St. Vincent de Paul Street, Coventry. Burial private and calling hours respectfully omitted.
