Robert R. Bianco,
74, of Warwick, passed away Wednesday, October 26th. The beloved husband of Patricia A. (Lavin) Bianco. They had just celebrated their fifty-first anniversary on September 24th. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Pasquale and Rachel "Ella" (Lombardi) Bianco.
Bob, a self-employed hub and die cutter was President of Bianco Tool & Die, Inc. and RPR Realty, LLC, both in Providence. A skilled craftsman, Bob's ability and professionalism were respected by both his customers and fellow toolmakers.
He is survived by his much loved children, Robert A. and wife Debra (Michael) of Pawtucket, Steven W. of North Kingstown, and Gail E. and husband Victor Filippi, Jr. of North Providence.
Brother of Richard E. of Pennsylvania, Francis R. and Cecile M. Halvorsen, both of Warwick and Donald D. of Johnston. He was also the brother of the late Anthony, Albert, Arthur, Pasquale, Peter, John, and Joseph Bianco. Proud uncle to his many nieces, nephews and their families
His funeral will be held on Monday, October 31, 2011 at 8:45 am from THE URQUHART-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 800 Greenwich Avenue, Route 5, Greenwood, Warwick (Exit 12A off I-95) with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in St. Catherine of Siena Church, 3250 Post Road, Warwick. Relatives and friends are invited and may call at the funeral home Sunday, 4-8pm. In accordance with Bob's wishes, he will be cremated. His cremated remains will be intombed at the Mother of Hope Mausoleum, St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. Flowers are welcome.
