Mary Ann (Nogas) Williamson, 69, of Saunderstown, died peacefully on Saturday, October 9, 2010 at South County Hospital. Born in Utica, NY, she was a daughter of the late John F. Nogas and Stella (Ciszek) Nogas. She was the loving wife of William J. Williamson. Mrs. Williamson was a Licensed Practical Nurse at St. Luke's Memorial Hospital of New Hartford, NY prior to starting her family. She was a Homemaker who loved crafting, crocheting, and beading, often donating her crafts to nursing homes. She enjoyed reading, puzzles, and spending time with her family and friends. She was a communicant of St. Bernard Church. Besides her husband, she leaves her five children: Richard W. Williamson and his wife Terri of Burlison, TN, Diana M. Dwane and her husband Dan of North Kingstown, Tim Williamson and his wife Sandy of Waxhaw, NC, Michelle A. Barger and her husband Dan of Virginia Beach, VA, and Kathleen Williamson and her husband Real Tanguay of Westfield, MA. She was the loving grandmother of Courtney, Joseph, and Adam Williamson, of Burlison, TN, Matt Walz, Casey Dwane, and Charlie Dwane of North Kingstown, Curtis, Abigail, and Spencer Barger of Virginia Beach, VA, and Brian and Sean Tanguay of Westfield, MA. She was the loving sister of Antoinette Richardson of Sealy, TX, Mildred Niemic of New York Mills, NY, and the late Jeanette Santoro and The Rev. Fr. Joseph Nogas. Her funeral will be held on Thursday, October 14, 2010 at 8:45 am from THE CRANSTON-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME of WICKFORD, 140 West Main Street, Wickford Village, North Kingstown, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in St. Bernard Church, 415 Tower Hill Road, Wickford. Burial will follow in the Rhode Island Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Exeter. Relatives and friends are invited and may call on Wednesday from 4:00 to 7:00 pm at the funeral home.
