Alfred E. Warhurst, Jr., 73, of Warwick passed away Monday at Kent Hospital. He was the beloved husband of Margaret (Taylor) Warhurst. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Alfred E. Warhurst, Sr. and Edythe (Lenahan) Warhurst. Mr. Warhurst was a Maintenance Man for C.C.R.I. for 10 years, retiring in 1997, and previously employed with Ciba-Geigy Co. He enjoyed photography and was a member of P.S.R.I. He was the loving father of Alfred E. Warhurst, III and his wife Pamela of Warwick and Richard J. Warhurst and his wife Jean of Canterbury, CT. Caring brother of Robert and John Warhurst, Edythe Shepard, Anne Harrington, Barbara Strate and Joan Amore. Cherished grandfather of three and great grandfather of four. His funeral and burial will be private. Calling hours are respectfully omitted.
