Raymond E. Waite, 56, died peacefully at Kent Hospital on July 2, 2010. Born in South Kingstown, he was a son of the late Ambrose H.G. Waite, Sr. and Belinda May (Price) Waite. Mr. Waite was a Laborer for Tourtellot & Company until his retirement. He was a member of the former Christ Episcopal Church, Providence and was a Tribal Elder of the Eastern Pequot Tribal Nation. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He leaves his four siblings: Carol A. Waite of Norwich, CT, Rose Marie Lewis of Norwich, CT, Ambrose H.G. Waite, III of Middletown, RI, and Michael A. Waite of Norwich, CT. He leaves many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
