Patricia E. (McKeever) Taylor, 77, of Warwick, passed away Sunday at Greenwood House. She was the beloved wife of James E. “Joe” Taylor, Jr. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late James F. McKeever, Sr. and Elizabeth (Rankin) McKeever and step daughter of the late Virginia F. (Pulsifer) McKeever. Mrs. Taylor was a telephone operator and secretary for New England Telephone Co. and then a bookkeeper for Warwick Ford. She was a graduate of Lockwood High School, class of 1950 and was a communicant of St. Catherine of Siena Church. She was the loving mother of Joseph L. Taylor and his former wife Lynne A. Taylor, both of Warwick. Cherished grandmother of Jennifer L. Taylor and James E. Taylor, III. Caring sister of Kevin F. McKeever, Cecelia A. Ritchie, Virginia M. Smith and H. Nancy LeBlanc, all of Warwick, Katherine A. Charpentier of Coral Beach, FL and the late Joseph P., Thomas A., James F., William A., and John F. McKeever, Winifred F. Steere, Jane Olive and Christine McKeever. Her funeral will be held Friday at 10:00 am from THE URQUHART-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 800 Greenwich Avenue, Route 5, Warwick (Exit 12A on I-95) with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am in St. Catherine of Siena Church, 3250 Post Road, Warwick. Burial will follow in R.I. Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Exeter. Relatives and friends are invited and may call Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 pm.
