You will embark on a fair sea,
and at times there will be fair weather, but not always.
You will meet storms and overcome them.
You will take it in turns to steer your boat through fair weather and foul. Never lose courage.
Save harbour awaits you...in the end.
David Bugbee (Sarasota, Florida)

Nancy, my sincere sympathy on the loss of your Dad. I'm sure the loving memories you have of him (and your Mom) will console you through this difficult period. God Bless.
Jacki Zahn (Burrillville RI)

Al Starr was truly a man of integrity. He loved his family and the members of his beloved church at St. Ann's-by-the Sea. I will always cherish the memories and the ministry we shared with one another on Block Island. My deepest condolances to his family and friends. May God grant you peace and the blessed assurance, Al is with the God, he loved. God Bless, Rev. Terry Matthews
Rev. Terry Matthews (Mckinney, Texas)

He was truly a fine man. My belated husband (Terry) and I met your Dad through Paul Shehan.
It was our pleasure to have known him.
Pat Mansour-Moran (East Providence, R.I.)

Nancy,

I was so sorry to hear of the death of your father. Death is never an easy thing for those of us left behind, but hopefully the thought that he is in a better place will comfort you.
Love,
Jan (McCarroll) Baggett (Griffin, Georgia)

We were saddened to learn of Al's passing, but we know he is with his beloved Norma and his son Andrew.
We will all miss him but he will be waiting when we get there. He was our lawyer until his son in law Rik took over, and of course he was as good and caring as Al.
Y'all are in our thoughts & prayers.
Barbara & Dan Whipple (Kerrville Tx)

Nancy and family,
So sorry to read recently of your dear dad's passing; may he rest in peace. We were away for a bit and just recently caught up on past Providence Journals. Although I did not know him personally, he was well known to the Hulme and Boucher families of Cranston. (You may remember my late fiancee, Pamela D. Boucher, a state archery champion from Cranston then Burrillville who died from Leukemia at the tender age of 19.) Anyway, there was a casual connection and I wanted to extend my sympathy albeit belatedly. I trust that there was fitting tribute paid to F. Albert and hope you and your family are comforted by his proud legacy and many fond memories. God bless you at this difficult time and always.
Tom Tatro (Harrisville, RI)
