Patricia A. (George) Stamatakos, 69, of Warwick, died peacefully at Rhode Island Hospital on Friday, July 16, 2010. Born in Attleboro, MA, she was a daughter of the late Manuel E. George and Mary G. (Perry) George. She was the wife of the late Peter J. Stamatakos. The couple had been married for 49 years. Mrs. Stamatakos was the Co-Owner of Peter's Hot Weiner Restaurant on West Shore Road in Warwick. She was a communicant of St. Benedict's Church. She leaves her two sons, John P. Stamatakos and his wife Katina of Overland Park, KS, and Nicholas P. Stamatakos and his wife Kerry of Warwick. Loving Grandmother of Vanessa, Alexis, Tiffany, and Tory. She was the sister of Col. Roger George U.S.A.F. of California, and the late Manny George and Judith Ann Orsini. Her funeral will be held on Tuesday, July 20, 2010 at 7:45 am from THE URQUHART-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 800 Greenwich Avenue, Route 5, Greenwood, Warwick (Exit 12A off I-95) with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:00 am in St. Benedict's Church,135 Beach Avenue, Warwick. Burial will follow in North Burial Ground, Providence. Relatives and friends are invited and may call at the funeral home on Monday from 5:00 to 7:00 pm.
