Stasia C. (Krzywonos) Slota, 84, of Warwick passed away Tuesday at home. She was the wife of the late Thaddeus J. Slota. Born in Pawtucket, she was a daughter of the late Wojciech and Catherine (Kulik) Krzywonos. Mrs. Slota was a cafateria manager at Kenney Mfg. Co. until her retirement in 1987. She was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Church in Warwick and the Ladies of St. Anne. She was also a member of the Buttonwoods Senior Center and Pilgrim Senior Center. She was an avid sports fan and enjoyed gardening. She was the loving mother of Edward P. Slota and Katherine M. Demirjian and her husband Allen, all of Warwick and Peter T. Slota and his wife Desiree Santilli of North Kingstown. Beloved grandmother (Babcia) of Stephanie, Melissa and Kristin Demirjian and Charlotte Slota. Caring sister of Thomas Krzywonos and Matthew “Mike” Krzywonos, both of Attleboro, MA, Stanley Krzywonos of Pawtucket, Mary Kulas of Taunton, MA and the late Genevieve Salisbury and Joseph and Charles Krzywonos. Her funeral will be held Friday at 10:00 am from THE URQUHART-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 800 Greenwich Avenue, Route 5, Warwick (Exit 12A on I-95) with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am in St. Francis of Assisi Church, 596 Jefferson Boulevard, Warwick. Burial will follow in All Saints Cemetery, Warwick. Relatives and friends are invited and may call Friday 8:00 - 10:00 am.
