Jonnie Jay (Vashey) Ridgewell, 55, of Coventry, passed away at her home on Thursday, February 11, 2010. Born in Warwick, she was a daughter of the late John Vashey and Marbarh (Rose) Vashey. She was the loving wife of Paul C. Ridgewell. Mrs. Ridgewell was a homemaker and a graduate of Warwick Veterans High School. Besides her husband, she leaves a son, Clinton J. Ridgewell of Carrollton, TX. She was the loving sister of John Vashey of CT, Patricia Hamlin of Coventry, Jenny Prior of Coventry, and Candine Gorton of North Kingstown. Her funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 17, 2010 at 11:00 am in THE URQUHART-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 800 Greenwich Avenue, Greenwood, Warwick (Exit 12A off I-95). Burial will be private. Relatives and friends are invited and may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 5:00 to 8:00 pm.
