Margaret “Morney” T. (Hamill) Reeder, 89, of Lincoln, died peacefully on February 19, 2010 at Our Lady of Fatima Hospital. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late James and Hattie (Hannaway) Hamill. Margaret was a Records Technician for the City of Warwick until her retirement in 1996. She was a communicant of St. Jude Church, active in the City of Warwick Blood Drives, and the Warwick Municipal Retirees Association. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She leaves a daughter, Lynda D. Vessella and her husband Richard of Lincoln. She was the mother of the late Roberta Pascone. She was the sister of the late Andrew Hamill and the late Catherine “Kay” Clesas, Dorothy McDonough, and Harriet Deery. She also leaves three grandchildren, Kara R. Campbell, Lauren D. Vessella, and Steven R. Vessella. Her funeral will be held Monday, February 22, 2010 at 8:45 am from THE URQUHART-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 800 Greenwich Avenue, Route 5, Greenwood, Warwick (Exit 12A off I-95) with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in St. Jude Church, 301 Front Street, Lincoln. Interment will follow in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. Relatives and friends are invited and may call at the funeral home on Sunday from 4:00 to 8:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, gifts in her memory to The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, 6931 Arlington Road, 2nd Floor, Bethesda, MD 20814 would be appreciated.
