Arthur E. Parker, Jr., 70, of Providence, passed away on June 4, 2010 surrounded by his family at Rhode Island Hospital. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Arthur Parker, Sr. and Mary (Carpenter) Parker. He was the beloved husband of Barbara (Carlone) Parker for 45 years. Besides his wife, he is survived by one son, Arthur E. Parker, III and his wife Tracy, and two daughters, Deborah Bouchard and her husband Brian, and Cheryl Saroka and her husband Chris. Cherished grandfather “Poppi” to eleven grandchildren. His funeral will be held on Tuesday, June 8, 2010 at 8:45 am from THE URQUHART-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 800 Greenwich Avenue, Route 5, Greenwood, Warwick (Exit 12A off I-95) with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in St. Mary Church, 538 Broadway, Providence.
