Lucy Morelli, 81, of Palmer Avenue, Warwick died Sunday at home. She was the beloved wife of Vincent Morelli for 61 years. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Cosimo and Clotilde (Tudino) Distante. Mrs. Morelli was a Licensed Practical Nurse for the General Hospital in Cranston for 20 years until her retirement. She enjoyed Bingo, Crocheting and Bowling. She was the loving mother of Vincent P. Morelli of Pascoag, Michael F. Morelli of Warwick, Steven J. Morelli of Foster, Mary-Lou Morelli, Camille C. Tantimonico and Lori J. Baker all of Warwick and the late Matteo and Raymond Morelli. Caring sister of Cosimo Distante of Cranston, Etta Campagnone of Johnston and the late Joseph, Carmino, Frank and Vincent Distante and Jenny Longo. Cherished grandmother of eleven and great grandmother of nine. Her funeral will be held Wednesday at 9:30 am from THE URQUHART-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 800 Greenwich Avenue, Route 5, Warwick (Exit 12A on I-95) with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 am in St. Kevin Church, 333 Sandy Lane, Warwick. Burial will follow in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. Relatives and friends are invited and may call Wednesday 8:00-9:30 am.
