Bonnie F. (Phillips) Miller, 64,of Middle Road, East Greenwich, died Thursday at Rhode Island Hospital. She was the beloved wife of Timothy L. Miller. Born in Louisville, KY, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Ivadell (Burke) Phillips and the step daughter of Larie A. Phillips of Warwick. Loving mother of Eric F. Miller and Keri L. Miller, both of East Greenwich.
Mrs. Miller was a Speech Pathologist for the Providence School System until her retirement. She was a graduate of Warwick Veterans High School, Gordon College, Emerson College graduating Magna Cum Laude and received her Master's Degree from the University of Rhode Island graduating Magna Cum Laude.
She was a member of Warwick Central Baptist Church, The American Speech & Hearing Association, where she served as a director, and the Warwick Heights Tennis Club; she was a former State Tennis Champion and Badminton player. An Accomplished musician, Bonnie played guitar and was a talented vocalist.
Her Funeral Service will be held Monday at 10:00 am in THE URQUHART-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 800 Greenwich Avenue, Route 5, Warwick (Exit 12A on I-95). Relatives and friends are invited and may call Sunday 2-5 pm. Burial in Elm Grove Cemetery, North Kingstown will be private. In lieu of flowers, gifts in her memory to The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, RI Chapter, 1210 Pontiac Ave., Cranston, RI 02920 would be appreciated.
