Elizabeth J. (Hobday) Lemlin, 82, of Warwick, died peacefully at Kent Hospital on April 29, 2010. Born in Cranston, she was a daughter of the late Leslie D. Hobday and Lillian R. (Curtis) Hobday. She was the loving wife of Oliver F. Lemlin. They were married on May 17, 1946 at St. Matthew Church, Cranston. Mrs. Lemlin was a Clerk in the payroll department of Victor Electric Company of West Warwick for 21 years until her retirement in 1985. She was a communicant of St. Catherine of Siena Church. Besides her husband, she leaves her two daughters, Jeanne M. Orr of Warwick and Kathy R. White of St. Marys, GA. She leaves a sister, Dennice E. Kutniewski of Warwick. She was the sister of the late Donald W. Hobday, Wayne Hobday, Robert Hobday, and Marjorie Anthony. Mrs. Lemlin was the loving grandmother of two grandchildren and three great-granddaughters. Her funeral will be held on Monday, May 3, 2010 at 7:45 am from THE URQUHART-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 800 Greenwich Avenue, Route 5, Greenwood, Warwick (Exit 12A off I-95) with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:00 am in St. Catherine of Siena Church, 3252 Post Road, Warwick. Burial will follow in The RI Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Exeter. Relatives and friends are invited and may call at the funeral home on Sunday from 4:00 to 7:00 pm.
