Charles E. Hull, 83, of Cranston, died peacefully at home on Wednesday, October 20, 2010. Born in Cranston, he was a son of the late Earle D. Hull and Pearl (Daniels) Hull. He was the loving husband of Barbara J. (Pickles) Hull and the late Helen R. (Galloway) Hull.
Mr. Hull was a Brewer for Narragansett Brewery until his retirement in 1988. He proudly served in the United States Navy during WWII and earned his Sea Captain's license. He was a member of the V.F.W. Post of Cranston . Mr. Hull was an avid hunter and fisherman, and enjoyed cooking.
Besides his wife, he leaves his two daughters: Sharon A. Burr of Warwick and Susan R. Colantonio of Smithfield. He was the father of the late Annlouise Hull and the brother of June Adie of Pensacola, FL. Cherished grandfather of four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
His funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 26, 2010 at 11:00 am in THE URQUHART-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 800 Greenwich Avenue, Route 5, Greenwood, Warwick (Exit 12A off I-95). Relatives and friends are invited and may call from 10:00 to 11:00 am prior to the service. Burial with Military Honors will follow in The RI Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Exeter.
