Robert L. Hornik, 65, of Exeter, died peacefully at South County Hospital on Sunday, August 29, 2010. Born in Brooklyn, NY, he was a son of the late Robert G. Hornik and Florence Eva (Kidney) Hornik. He was the loving husband of Karen L. (Brodersen) Hornik. Mr. Hornik worked as a carpenter for various businesses until his retirement. He was an associate member of the former Post 12 American Legion of Exeter. He enjoyed fishing, carpentry, and building. Besides his wife, he leaves his two brothers, Russell J. Hornik and his wife Jacquelyn of Exeter, and Dennis K. Hornik and his wife Wendy of North Kingstown. He was the cherished uncle of many nieces and nephews. Mr. Hornik's funeral and burial will be private. Arrangements have been entrusted to THE CRANSTON-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME of WICKFORD.
