Carolyn G. (Sonstroem) Forest, 37, passed away at her home in Exeter on February 11, 2010. She was the wife of John M. Forest, son of Donald and Diane Forest of Jamestown. She is survived by her parents Robert and Norma (Battista) Sonstroem of North Kingstown; sisters Lisa Kennally and husband Thomas and Kim Cook and husband Michael; brother Glenn Carnevale; sisters in law Marie E. Seitz and Amanda M. Antinucci; a niece Lillian Cook; and nephews Matthew and Andrew Kennally, Neil and Cameron Seitz, and Eden and Christian Antinucci. Carolyn was born in North Kingstown and confirmed in St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Providence. She lettered two years in varsity tennis at North Kingstown High School and graduated in 1990. She majored in psychology at the University of Rhode Island, graduating in 1994. Carolyn was employed since 2005 as an Account Manager by Pearson Education, a subsidiary of Prentice Hall. In 2008 she was awarded Top Performer for sales that placed her in the top ten percent of corporation employees. She enjoyed playing tennis, creating jewelry, gardening and caring for her 3 cats. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday February 20, 2010 at 10:30 am in St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church, 445 Elmwood Avenue, Providence. Relatives and friends are invited.
