Vera E. (Brindell) Flaherty, 81, of Riverside passed away Saturday at Rhode Island Hospital. Born in Yonkers, NY, she was a daughter of the late Matthew and Vera (Cooper) Brindell. Ms. Flaherty was a private duty Certified Nursing Assistant. She was the beloved mother of Matthew P. Flaherty of East Providence, Mark S. Flaherty of Warwick, Joseph L. Flaherty of New York and the late Patricia M. Houlihan. Loving sister of Rosemary B. Brindell of Warwick. Cherished grandmother of John J. Flaherty and the late Elizabeth Houlihan. Her Funeral Service will be held Thursday at 3:00 PM in THE URQUHART-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 800 Greenwich Avenue, Route 5, Warwick (Exit 12A on I-95). Relatives and friends are invited.
