Richard V. Dugdale, 92, of Warwick, died peacefully on May 27, 2010 at Kent Hospital. Born in East Providence, he was a son of the late Earl Dugdale and Ruth B. Dugdale. He was the loving husband of Ruth B. (Williams) Dugdale. Mr. Dugdale was a Chemist and Technical Representative, covering the New England states for Rohm & Haas Company, now the Dow Chemical Company, retiring in 1986 after 33 years of service. He was a graduate of Hope High School, attended URI, and graduated from RISD. He was a Member of Pilgrim Lutheran Church for over 50 years. Mr. Dugdale was a member of the Rhode Island and East Greenwich Yacht Clubs, Potowomot and Quonset Golf Clubs, and the American Association of Textile Chemists & Colorists, serving as secretary for 8 years. Besides his wife, he leaves his two children: David M. Dugdale of West Greenwich and Joanne H. MacConnell of Warwick. Relatives and friends may call on Thursday, June 3, 2010 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm in THE URQUHART-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 800 Greenwich Avenue, Route 5, Greenwood, Warwick (Exit 12A off I-95).
