Arlene G. (Marchitelli) Denton, 66, of North Kingstown, died peacefully on Wednesday, July 28, 2010 at South County Hospital. Born in Brooklyn, NY she was a daughter of the late Gerado M. Marchitelli and Dorothy M. (Merritt) Marchitelli. She was the life partner of Linda M. Sullivan for 32 years. Ms. Denton was the proprietor of Woman's Wish in Occoquan, VA before moving to North Kingstown three years ago and opening Arlene's Place in Wickford Village. She offered classes in meditation, Reiki, and women empowerment. She was a communicant of St. Bernard Church. Relatives and friends are invited and may call on Monday, August 2, 2010 from 4:00 to 7:00 pm in THE CRANSTON-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME of WICKFORD, 140 West Main Street, Wickford Village, North Kingstown, with a service to follow at 7:00 pm.
