Joseph T. Deady, 79, of Inman Avenue, Warwick, died Saturday September 4, 2010 at Kent Hospital. He was the beloved husband of Charlotte E. (Conery) Deady, the couple had been married 56 years. Born in Providence, May 6, 1931, he was a son of the late Thomas and Alice (Padien) Deady. An employee of the State of Rhode Island, Department of Transportation until his retirement due to ill health; Mr. Deady was also a veteran of the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He was a member for many years of the Smithfield Lodge of Elks. Besides his wife, Mr. Deady is survived by his four children, Kenneth J. Deady of Chepachet, Charlotte A. Ashworth of Warwick, Dale M. Comella of Johnston and Joseph S. Deady of Narragansett. He was a brother of Dorothy Richards of Providence, Eileen DiMuccio and Jean Croce both of Johnston, Carol Tedeschi of West Warwick and the late Thomas, John and Robert Deady. He was the devoted grandfather of Donovan Leech, Seth R. Deady, Krista Brack, Ryan Deady, Esq., Lara Bowen, Megan Mailhot, Anthony Comella, Joseph Comella, Kyle Deady, Joshua Deady, Seth I. Deady and the late Eric Deady. He was the cherished great grandfather of five. His Funeral Service will be held Thursday at 10:00 am in THE URQUHART-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 800 Greenwich Ave., Route 5, Greenwood, Warwick, (Exit 12A on I-95).
