Amelia (Parissi) Conte-Licciardi, 96, of Providence Street, West Warwick died Monday at Kent Regency. She was the wife of the late Nicholas J. Conte and the late Ferdinand Licciardi. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Frank and Lucy (Colasanto) Parissi.
Mrs. Conte was an assembler in the jewelry industry until her retirement. She was a communicant of St. Joseph Church in West Warwick.
She was the beloved mother of John B. Licciardi of Minneapolis, MN, Fred Licciardi of Boynton Beach, FL, Robert T. Licciardi of West Warwick, David J. Licciardi of Coventry, Lucille M. Very of Chicago, IL and the late Dolores Weiss. Loving grandmother, great grandmother and great great grandmother. Caring sister of Evelyn Votolato of Cranston and the late Louis Parissi and Joseph Volpe.
Her funeral will be held Saturday at 8:00 am from THE URQUHART-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 800 Greenwich Avenue, Route 5, Warwick (Exit 12A on I-95) with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:00 am in St. Joseph Church, 854 Providence Street, West Warwick. Burial will follow in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. Relatives and friends are invited and may call Friday 5-8 pm.
