Bernard J. Bowey, 82, formerly of Benedict Road, Warwick died June 15, 2010 at Kent Hospital. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late John M. and Alice L. (Kane) Bowey. Mr. Bowey was a Maintenance Man for the City of Warwick until his retirement. Devoted to his family, he was the beloved brother of Mary E. Daly of Charlestown and the late John T. Bowey and Alice T. Rouse. Loving uncle of Edward Rouse of Warwick, Mary E. Fratus-Harwood of Coventry, Patricia L. Budlong of Coventry, Jill Hobin of Coventry and the late James Daly. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated in SS John & Paul Church, South Main Street, Coventry. Burial followed in Pawtuxet Memorial Park, Warwick.
